[MUSIC] [Music] Hello. And Merry Christmas! I wasn’t going to make this my Christmas special or Christmas video and because I wanted to do a Christmas scene, but I’ve run it at a time again So today we’re going to do the machine of the Pegasus horse and in the coming new year, I’ll be doing quite a few of these, so you’ll really get the hang of using a CNC machine and how to convert these into 3d reliefs. So we’ll get straight on with machine in the Pegasus horse for a talk. So this is what it see. Studio sees as the cutting envelope on the 6090 router. So what I’m going to do now is Im. I’ve got a what a 20 tool set into the spindle, and I’m going to fire the pendant up, and it’s because at the moment. The that this big ol head here is in the machine home position, so what I’m going to do now is take it over to a position where the start of the program is or the g54 or the origin of the program set the XY0 positions, then change the tool and put the 12 millimeter ring and then do the zip sit, set the Z height. Okay, so I’ve just linked together the pendant and se Studio, which is a simple process. Really, it’s just a matter of putting the dongle, which is here into the computer. And if I can zoom in to this, you know, it’s a very small square little box red box there with an X in it, you just touch on that, and it actually links or switch this on and it links this with the computer. Then this takes over control. Okay, now we do the X, which is pretty well, where, and so now we can zero. The X and one is a simple case of just pressing and pressing and it’s done. So now I’ll change the tool or put the twelve millimeter in and we can zero out the twelve with meat tools. Let me put the twelve millimeter ten million. I’m in danger now of running out of zip axis in the up direction. So now I’m going to have to reposition the spindle in. It’s meant this gives, you know, and I suppose that the benefit of having the reach of 200 millimeters, even though the operation of the z-axis is only about a hundred and thirty millimeters. But you are able to unclamp this and move the spindle in. It’s meant, which is what we’re going to have to do there to get enough clearance over the material. Now that’s a very simple process. You just get them. Alan smoking off the pinch bolts. Here you’re gonna screwdriver. But first take the weight of the malt and put a bit of upward pressure, so you’re just in easy open and see it slip down. Then once you open that it will move quite freely. Okay, so we want it. You know, good 50:16 milk underneath there and just nip these back up. You don’t have to over tighten them, okay, so it’s simply done with a piece of paper, although the machines that I I am supplying, actually have an electronic aid to do this, So you select Z and take it down. I’ve got this coming down gradually. Every every I suppose movement of this is one millimeter, so we can take it down. Take it down until we’re quite close, and then I can alter the jog to four millimeter half a millimeter steps now. I’m going to go down to 0.1 steps in Joc what I actually do is just catch out of the piece of paper and just move it slightly and just bring the tool down till it just grabs it. Just feel at all, just grow up in that, and now so now we know that that tool is approximately a thousandth of an inch off the top of that a piece of work, so we’re just zero it. Now hopefully try again. Vega, so now is zero and this is the home position. Okay, no machine coordinate. And this is the work offset or the work coordinate. Okay, so now we’re all set up for machine in. I can put this to normal job what I’m doing. I’ll just turn you over here so you can see what? I’m doing to alter the jog settings. I’m just altering this. Look as there’s one millimeter there. I’ll turn to Z axis at 1 millimeter. What – actually it’s precisely 2 millimeters. Take it down one. It’s precisely one millimeter off that work so now. I put it too full of jog, and now it’s full-time job as much as I move the the wheel here or the pendant. It’ll it’ll keep on going [Music] pega. So now it’s twenty two point seven one millimeters off the work. So now what I actually do is turn the pendant off. This is off now. I don’t use the pendant when the machine is running its. Look, this is a radial device. I’ve never really had anything happened to me personally, but I have heard of if you have this live and hooked up to the Machine while it’s running the program. It is possible that something can go amiss if someone accidentally moves this or something while it’s run the program. I believe so, that’s why I personally turn the pendant off that’s all now. The computer and the keyboard is in complete control of the machine through in the studio. So the next thing we’re going to do now is to open the file and we’ll load it into se studio if I can find it, okay. This is now running 18 millimeters per second [Music] an actual fact. I’ve just put this up to 120 percent. This is now running up. [MUSIC] 100 millimeters or 4 inches per second [Music] You’ll now see what I was explaining. But as the tool approaches this area here [Music] if momentarily, while the the Zaid pick up analyze X to go further over then drops dead. Is it just a momentary cool, or should I say not not a force sort of slow down really slightly slow down so just coming over the second cut [Music]? This is a cot, Chuck. By the way, This is a color, the change in changing the collet took. This is a six millimeter, a quarter of an inch. That’s clear that creeps in there like that, and you have to clip that in first before you can actually put – let me put an end about. So far. Don’t have to Over-tighten [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] and there is the finished item is pretty well straight off the machine all. I’ve really done is just trying to trim the the border off to a little bit of a frame. I haven’t even cut any Emery. I knew I put any paper to it or anything. You can see it’s so it’s not bad at all. It’s got a little tiny bit of fairing around the edges a little bit here now. If I was able to put the one point, five millimeter ball mill in that would have reduced that a lot, but we’re just going to go around it with a bit of paper and put some sort of finish on it. Probably Linseed oil. That is how to turn a grayscale picture into a 3d piece of art relation, so what? I hope you’ve enjoyed the machine in of that today because it’s no big for Christmas Eve. Our walls gonna do a Christmas type of project, but I’ve run out of time, so I just like to wish you all a Merry Christmas, and you’re probably gonna take a break for two or three days myself know, and I’ll see you probably just before the you know, so, please. If you’ve liked this video, that’s like subscribe to my channel. That’s a real good thing to do and little Red Fox down, then bottom corner there. That’s normal that will take you to my. Youtube channel, where there’s a lot of videos now on CNC machines. Mac, 3nc studio out, Cam. I do some wood turning metal turning, make some furniture. I do the quite a few shop jobs as well. That may interest you so. I’m sure there’s something there. I’m sure there’s something there that please. You may interest you so again. Merry Christmas to you all and bye for now. Oh.
